Dr. Bee Xiong-Vang
Dr. Bee Xiong-Vang is a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota and Wisconsin and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Wisconsin. She earned her Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology and completed her doctoral residency internship with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. She also holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
Dr. Bee identifies as a Hmong, BIPOC, refugee woman and is bilingual in Hmong and English. Her work has primarily focused on providing psychotherapy and psychological assessment services to culturally and linguistically diverse communities in both private practice and community mental health settings. She is deeply committed to supporting marginalized populations, particularly immigrant and refugee individuals and families.
Dr. Bee has extensive experience conducting culturally responsive psychological evaluations and training clinical trainees in this work. She views culturally and linguistically competent assessment as an important tool for advocacy and social justice.
Her therapeutic approach is grounded in psychodynamic theory and integrates evidence-based practices including CBT, ACT, DBT skills, mindfulness, and trauma-informed therapies.
Outside of work, Dr. Bee enjoys spending time with her husband, three sons, and large extended family, as well as traveling, visiting the beach, and trying new foods.
